The historical town of Zell am See is located at the base of the Schmittenhöhe mountain and on the shores of lake Zell. Sophisticaled shopping, bars and many modern and traditional restaurants can be found at the heart of the Resort.  The Après ski life of Zell am See can be easily reached by foot from Khione and Chalet Zell and a short car or bus ride down the hill from Chalet Schmitten 102.  If you don’t fancy driving yourself there are plenty of local taxi companies to chauffeur you around the mountain.
